This is my attempt to write a serial novel, in the noble tradition of Dostoevsky and Dickens (and Maupin in the 70s). Also it is my attempt to write some hard-boiled detective fiction although I suspect I am more like Aaron Spelling than Haruki Murakami or Raymond Chandler.
